I love to be lied to by the union.

I am flattered that the union cares enough to personally invite me to sign up and join their cause. Too bad you left us out there standing in the cold. You guys made us feel like we were alone in
our fight two years ago. And we (you) didn't achieve any of the goals you talk about.

Progress required that we speak in unity, but you spoke for yourselves. Yea, we know about your spotted history...heros of yesteryear. That last sentence of the first paragraph is a horse manure. Dozens of unionists over the years told me that Howard Hughes invited your respectable organization to Hughes Aircraft! So which is it, you had enough and twisted his arm, or did he invite you? Your lies are unraveling your gig here kids.

You say you represent 1850 workers in the county? Yea?...is that true? NO, you manipulate a large number of workers, but represent? You didn't represent the worker who was walked off the job two weeks ago because he wasnt a member. So you pick and choose who you represent. We non members demand fairness, and the only way we see that will happen is when your union is unemployed at Raytheon.

Come join us in securing a better life for you and your loved ones by ridding our factory of the leaches that have been sucking our wallets. Go to http://www.iam933.net/ and fill out the
petition for freedom. The petition is a free download and in two formats for your convenience. Please Complete and mail it to the Decertify Committee. If you have any questions, drop them a line on their website, or leave a note here.

Jimbo must be puckering

Last May the AZ Daily Star published a couple articles showing how membership at the union has dropped five years straight. I critisized reporter Becky Pallack for not looking deeper into the LM-2 form. She would have noticed the union has less clout than reported. Now I'm wringing my hands together waiting to see the LM-2 for 2008! I predict a similar reduction in the union role call.
LODGE 933 represents Boeing, HE Microwave, CAE Reflectone, RMS Rescue & Fire, and L-3 Communications in addition to Raytheon Missile Systems and others. How many members does that leave at RMS? Less than 865?
Again, here are the facts, as reported by President Harry Anthros using the LM-2 for 2007. Also the two previous annual statements of representation. It shows total membership, the number of active members who have a vote, and the others with no voice.
-
Year -- Total members -- Active Members -- retired/other
2007 -- 1671 ------------ 1165 -------------- 506
2006 -- 1699 ------------ 1258 -------------- 441
2005 -- 1765 ------------ 1392 -------------- 373
-
The union had 1671 total members. But only 1165 of them counted. The rest were retired members, or unemployed. These guys can't vote in the Decertification. We're calling their bluff!
Last year they had only 1165 active members across all the companies they represent, and aproximately 1730 laborers at Raytheon, it appears they fell below the 50% representation mark at RMS. This year, it is gonna look worse! Lots of people are fed up and retired. Others are quitting the union. Ed Q will be the last President of Lodge 933 at RMS! And Jimbo must be puckering!
